I Finally Visited One of Wonju’s Most Popular Espresso Cafés
I kept hearing people talk about Rieul Rieul Coffee Roasters, so I finally decided to check it out.
The first thing I noticed? There were a lot of people. At first I thought maybe it was just because I visited at the wrong time, but then I realized there are many offices around the café. It seems like a lot of people stop by for coffee during work.
Even though the café was busy, I didn’t wait very long. They have quite a few staff members, so drinks come out surprisingly fast. I always like cafés that don’t make me wonder if they forgot my order.
The café has a cool, trendy vibe without trying too hard. It feels modern but still comfortable enough to sit for a while.
One thing I really liked was the coffee beans. You can choose the flavor profile depending on what you like. If you prefer a nutty and smooth taste, they have that. If you’re into brighter, fruity, slightly acidic coffee, you can choose that too. I wish more cafés did this because everyone likes different coffee.
Their espresso is probably what they’re most famous for, and I can see why. Even if you don’t usually drink espresso, it’s worth trying at least once.
The staff were also really friendly. They answered questions without making me feel rushed, which was nice.
If I had to complain about one thing… maybe the iced coffee. 😂 It tasted great, but I finished it so quickly because it felt a little small. Maybe that’s just me.
Overall, I’d definitely come back. Good espresso, fast service, friendly people, and a cool atmosphere. If you’re in Wonju and need a coffee break, this place is worth checking out.
